Drop Till U Flop
Simple as the title says it, keep dropping your lines, whether it is freestyle or pre-written, until you flop, get tongue twisted or hesitate for 5 seconds (not including the crowd getting noisy and hyped). No physical violence and the decision is based on the judges' call. Usually goes for 3 rounds, and if needed, an overtime round is called.
Let 'Em Go
3 rounds of complete flow, either freestyle or pre-written/memorised. No time limits and no flop forfeits. You basically spit until you choose to let your opponent do their round. Hesitation is allowed, but judges must penalize for it during their decision call. Judges' decision, overtime if necessary.

Time Attack
3 rounds of 1 minute on the clock to spit your battle bars. Same again, freestyle or pre-written allowed. No time penalty for flopping, but hesitating cuts down on your time. Same as before, judges call is the result. Overtime is also called if needed, which lasts for 45 seconds. Other rules include the time limit being more than 1 minute.
By The People, For The People
The battle where the judges' decision is not considered. 3 rounds of free flow. This battle is won by getting the best reaction from the audience and is judged by the audience. At the end of each round, the crowd choose for who they believe is the winner of the round. Best of 3 rounds No overtimes, no draws, basically there is a definite winner and loser. If you get booed or get a negative reaction, you must forfeit that round.
Cypher Battle
The battle stipulation where there is a beat playing and the battlers must rap according to the beat. 5 rounds of 30 seconds each. The result is judges' decision, no overtime or draws. Hesitating with the beat makes you forfeit the round and earns a 'punishment' which would usually be the decision of the judges or audience.
Tag Team
Where a team battle against another team of the same number, where each rapper on their turn raps on one or both battlers on the other team. Any battle type can fit this, the only difference is that there is more than just yourself and opponent in the battle. 3 rounds, overtime called if necessary.
Battle Stipulation
When freestyling becomes more interesting. Before each round, the battlers are given a stipulation to follow and must abide to the rule each round to avoid getting disqualified from the battle. 3 rounds of 1 minute each (or til you flop, according to judges choice). Stipulation examples include "You must make a reference to a film in this round"; "You can't use jokes or insults about the other person's mum in this round"; "You must use at least 3 metaphor insults in this round"; etc. Winner is by judges' decision and overtime is called if necessary. This takes freestyle to the next level and tests the battlers' freestyle skills hard.
Preview/Promo Battle
A battle of any type that does not count towards any record on the battler's profile. It is simply just to promote K.O.T.S. by means of keeping the viewers and crowd interested. It can be any battle type on this page, so tag team, cypher, etc. and is not judged. These usually are just freestyle and not full on serious as the defeat or victory is not recorded officially. Polls are available to vote for who you think would have won.
Killer Verse
This battle consists of a 16 line 'verse'. Anything over that 16 line limit is not counted. Freestyle or pre-written, judges decision. No time limit, however, hesitating for too long causes you to forfeit the round. 1 round, no overtime allowed.
One modification is the possibility of choosing either to do a 16-line verse each or a 32-line verse each.
Presenter's Call
This is basically where the presenter or host states the rounds, rules and stipulation of the battle. This is entirely up to the host, but is judged by the judges. Overtimes are allowed at presenter's discretion.
Off The Paper
Similar to 'Killer Verse' only that this is fixed to a whole length of A4 paper. This is when time-limited pre-writtens are tested. The battlers must prepare their A4 paper verse in a space of less than 24 hours, but are allowed to read their verse off the paper, hence the name. One round only, judges' decision, no OT.
Royal Rumble
Where every man is for himself, usually just a promo as there isn't really a judge. This is when battlers are free to choose who their bars are directed at. They are free to step in, interrupt and just freely flow. Modifications to this include adding a beat.
